Chinese Freemasons is a worldwide non-profit national organization and has been established in Canada since 1863. Today, it involves thousands of members in 18 chapters across the country. It has worked tirelessly as a liaison between the Chinese community and Government as it has helped many immigrates becoming part of Canadian society. We encourage members of the Chinese community to fully participate as citizens of this multicultural nation.

Chinese Freemasons (Hung Mun), otherwise known as the Chinese Freemasons has history dating back to the early years of the Qing (Cantonese: Ch'ing) Dynasty (1646 A.D.) Dr. Sun Yet San, considered to be one of the National Fathers of the Peoples Republic of China, was a member of the Chinese Freemasons. It was funding from the Chinese Freemasons that helped with the overthrow of China's last dynasty, the Qing dynasty and formed the Peoples Republic of China.

Today, there are Chinese Freemasons in every major Chinese communities of Canada, United States, Europe, Australia, Taiwan, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Japan, and many other countries.

Regina Chinese Freemason Chapter was established on 1929 and re-opened at 1811 St. John Street, Regina on 2008. It is now relocated at 632 Dewdney Ave., Regina, S4N 0G3. Regina Chinese Freemason Chapter is also the active member of Regina Multicultural council and has its own pavillion Called "Sprit of China" in Regina Annual Mossaic to promote Chinese culture and spirit.

Started from the year of 2010, we have an annual Fundraising live auction charity & raffle draw for children’s health care at Regina General hospital through Regina Hospital Foundation.

Since 2016, we also each year to pay a lump sum to look after the chinese section of the designated area for City of Regina Cemetry .

We are working in the process to build a Chinese gate and to redevelop the China town in Regina. Our Chinese history, struggles and involvement in Canada has helped to shape this country’ s cultural and political landscape and although we have respectful ties to our home country. ** We are proud to be a part of Canada. A country with democratic freedom ** In summary, we are working years by years to remember the Chinese Freemason’s history, the present and the future and all the important memories that make up our community here in Canada.

We are also very proud to be affiliated with Canadian Hung Kuen Association and local Dancing groups. Our purpose is to promote Kung Fu & Fitness, Lion Dance performance, traditional dance classes etc.

洪门民治党在加拿大历史悠久,影响力大。其建党治党宗旨就是,推广华侨侨界和谐团结、为侨社公益及福利而努力、发扬中国国粹及传统文化、积极推动中加文化交流、协助新移民适应新环境及融入加拿大提供服务。洪门民治党的前身为天地会,350年前,天地会是中国一个志向伟大的革命组织,一个爱国家、爱民族、爱自由的组织,运用灵活的战略,推翻腐败的满清政权。如今的洪门民治党已演进成一个为各地华人社区争取福利,积极参与公益事务,推广中加文化的慈善团体。在历史长河中,加拿大洪门为了辛亥革命抵押了房屋党产,贷款干革命,加拿大洪门出现了许多可歌可泣的英雄事迹,黄花岗七十二烈士中有六十八名洪门英雄;在抗日战争、新中国和平建设中,都有爱国爱乡海外洪门人士的身影。在加拿大,华人被歧视的年代,面对种种不公义者,洪门人士挺身而出,伸张正义,积极维护了当地华人华侨的利益,为所在地华人排忧解难,起到了中流砥柱的作用。洪门民治党成员遍布世界各地,在加拿大的中国洪门民治党现共有26个分部,Regina分部是其中之一。
